Margaret Mosser, 81, Minot, ND, died Saturday, May 10, 2008, in a Minot nursing home.

Margaret Irene Burckhard was born December 3, 1926, the daughter of Frank and Caroline (Black) Burckhard in Orrin, ND. She was raised in Orrin and educated in Berwick, ND.

Margaret was married to Michael J. Mosser October 9, 1945, in Berwick, ND. The couple made their home in Minot, where Margaret worked as a housekeeper.

Michael passed away October 5, 2007. Following her husband's death, she continued to reside in Minot.

She was a former member of St. Leo's Catholic Church, and was a member and treasurer of St. Leo's Altar Society and a member of St. Leo's School PTO. At the time of her death, she was a member of First Baptist Church, Minot, and worked in its AWANA program. She was also a member of Al-Anon Family Groups.

She enjoyed reading the Bible and spending time with her family.

VaLarie Mosser, Chanhassen, MN, Vergil Mosser, Minot, Yvonne (Wayne) Washburn, Arlington, WA, Victor Mosser and his fiancé Sandy Bland, Bemidji, MN, Vern (Sharon) Mosser, Kennewick, WA, Dale Mosser and his significant other, Arlene Gagne, Minot, Diane (Todd) Myers, Atlanta, GA, Duane Mosser, Anamosa, IA, and Blaine (LaDonna) Mosser, Portland, OR,; son-in-law, Benito Mar, Utah; 21 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; brother, John P. (Ann) Burckhard; sisters, Barbara Schell, Marian (Victor) Axtman, and Theresa Miller, all of Minot; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Frank and Caroline Burckhard; husband, Michael; daughter, Vicki Mar; brothers, Peter, Fabian, and Mike Burckhard.

Funeral: Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Minot.

Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND.

Visitation: No reviewal but friends may sign the register book on Tuesday from Noon to 5 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Memorials: Margaret's family suggests memorial contributions be made to Cystic Fibrosis.
