Carolyn D. Moser, 78, 1211 University Ave., Minot, died Saturday, July 28, 2007, in a Minot hospital.

She was born on November 30, 1928, in Minot, ND, the daughter of Frank and Philomena (Lemer) Wald. She was raised and educated in Karlsruhe, ND and after graduation attended St. Joseph's School of Nursing, where she graduated as a registered nurse in March of 1950.

On September 10, 1951, Carolyn married Bernard Moser and they made their home in Minot. Carolyn's passion was nursing and she gave of herself to that calling for over 40 years. She worked at St. Joseph's Hospital, taught classes at the nursing school and was Dr. Dormont's nurse in pediatrics. Later in her career, Carolyn had the opportunity to further her education and became an. enterostomal therapist. She loved her work and her patients.

Carolyn was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church, Minot for over 55 years and a member of the American Legion for over 50 years.

Survivors: daughter, Leanne "Snookie" (Jerome) Pennington, Fallbrook, CA; son, Donnie (Laura) Moser, Puyallup, WA; three grandchildren, Laurie (Bruce) Costantino, Candice (Reyes) Castenada and Nicholas Moser; two great-grandchildren, Jacob and Sarah Costantino; two brothers, John Wald, Canal Winchester, OH and Donald Wald, Peoria, AZ; two sisters, Marian Bridwell, Moorhead, MN, Gloria Taylor, Chandler, AZ and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard who died April 6, 1984, her parents, Frank and Philomena, brothers, Frank, Herman and Jerome Wald, sisters, Magdalen Stricker, Agatha Bonawitz, and Kay Johnson.

Mass of Christian Burial: Friday, August 3, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. Little Flower Catholic Church, Minot

Visitation: Thursday, August 2, 2007, from Noon until 7 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot

Rosary and Vigil Prayer Service: Thursday, August 2, 2007, at 7 p.m. at the funeral home

Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot

Memorials preferred to the Assumption Abby in Richardton, ND.

Celebrant of the Liturgy: Monsignor Joseph Senger

Music: Little Flower Music Ministry, Don Hoffart, vocalist and Jeanne Artz, organist
