Harold L. Mortensen 1917 - 2006 Harold L. Mortensen, 88, 305 8th St. NE, Minot, ND, died Tuesday, January 10, 2006, in a Minot nursing home. Harold Leroy Mortensen was born October 6, 1917, the son of Ole and Christina (Rehn) Mortensen a mile and a half south east of Mohall, ND. He was married to Grace May Jevne on November 17, 1940, in Minot, ND. They made their home in Minot, where he was employed by the Great Northern Railway as a Carman until his retirement in 1978. They had one son, Bruce, who passed away January 15, 2005. Grace passed away on October 28, 1998. Harold has resided at Trinity Homes since 2004. He was a member of the BNSF Veterans Association. He had been a member of the Eagles Aerie and the Railway Carmen of America. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving family includes his daughter-in-law, Anna Mortensen, Lakewood, CO; grandchildren, Kelly Mortensen, Hope (Dr. Jason) Tregellas and Robin (Christopher) Miles; great-grandchildren, David Mortensen, Lyndsey Miles, and Logan Tregellas, all of Colorado; brother, John (Frances) Mortensen, Mohall; sister, Nadine (Chuck) Carbert, Federal Way, Washington; sister-in-law, Gladys Mortensen, Mohall; and numerous nieces and nephews. Harold was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Grace; son, Bruce, brothers, Henry, Clarence, and Bob Mortensen; and sister, Louella Schroeder. Memorial Service: Friday, January 13, 2006, at 2:00
