Arlene Morrison 1940 - 2002 Arlene Maxine Morrison, 62, Flaxton, died Monday, June 3, 2002 in the Kenmare hospital. Arlene was born March 22, 1940, in Lucy Township, near Powers Lake, ND, the daughter of Frank and Irene (Smith) Hanson. She attended rural Clayton School and later Coteau High School where she graduated in 1958. She entered the United States Army in 1958 and served until 1960 when she was honorably discharged. She then served in the Army National Guard for a time. Arlene lived in various cities across the United States and the world. She spent her later years in North Dakota and since September of 2001 had lived in Flaxton. She was a member of the Flaxton Senior Citizens. Survivors: Daughters, Kristy Pfau, Upham, Charlotte Wall, San Leandro, CA, Jennifer Takacs, Corpus Christi, TX, Tonja Davis, Killeen, TX; sons, Dustin Olson, Fergus Falls, MN, and Frank "Butch" Rabbass, Midland, TX; eleven grandchildren; sisters, Lorraine Helwig, Donnybrook, and Phyllis Christensen, Tioga; brother, Frank Hanson, Bowbells; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher; her parents, Frank and Irene Hanson, and a sister, Constance Hanson. Funeral: Sunday, June 9, 2002, at 1:00 p.m., at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Kenmare, ND. Visitation: Saturday, June 8, 2002, from noon to 5:00 p.m., at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, MINOT, and Sunday one hour prior to the service at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Kenmare.
