Michelle Laverne Monington
• 1988 - 2007 Michelle was born July 17, 1988 in Minot, to David Monington and Bonnie Rodr. She was ready to come into this world and was a very happy child. She was reared and educated in North Dakota, Nebraska and Michigan. As she got older she loved skate boarding, writing poetry and songs, spending time with her family and friends. She liked to listen to music. Her favorite food was pizza. The most important thing in Michelle's life was her son, Steven Monington. For Steven, know your mother loved you with all her heart. Survivors: Son, Steven Monington, Minot; father, David Monington, Belcourt; mother, Bonnie Rodr, Minot; her girlfriend, KD Shorb, Minot; sisters, Erin (Brian) Cooke, Dickinson and Christy Monington, Minot; brother, Eric Rodr, Belcourt; niece, Shawnna Neuhalfen; nephew, Brayden Monington and Michelle was expecting a new niece or nephew; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins survive. Michelle was preceded in death by her girlfriend's daughter, Kelsey; her paternal grandparents, Laverne and Lilian Monington; uncle, Doug Monington; her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Penner. Memorial Service: Friday, June 15, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Dakota Baptist Church, located at 2045 3rd St. NW, Minot, ND.
