Robert Mock • 1944 - 2003
Robert Mock, 58, Devils Lake formerly of Minot died Sunday, April 13, 2003, at a Grand Forks hospital. He was born October 8, 1944, Ryder, ND to Otto and Hazel (Link) Mock. He was reared and educated in the Ryder area. On June 12, 1965, Robert married Sharon Malcomb. The couple was later divorced. Robert worked as a custodian at various schools in the Minot area including Maxbass and Butte. He was also employed with Continental Metal Products, Porter Brothers and as a semi truck driver all in Minot. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Survivors: sons, Jeff Mock (Natalie), Minot, Robby Mock, Devils Lake, ND; and Wally Mock (Darian) Minot; daughter, Roberta Gleason (Jason), Tolna, ND; grandchildren, Shayla, Otto, Kay, Karley and Shayann Mock, Minot, Krysta and Kody Mock, Devils Lake, Larissa and Levi Heil, Butte, ND Tyler, Daniel, and Mackenzie Gleason, Tolna, and Jayme and Brian Huntzinger, Minot; brothers, Raymond (Judy) Mock, Minot and Jerry Mock, all of Minot; sister, Peggy Hoffer (Mike), Minot; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Kayla Mock, parents, sister, Kay Strand, and fiancée, Sharon Kennely. Funeral Service: Thursday, April 17, 2003, at 11 a.m. at Bread of Life Lutheran Church, Minot Visitation: Wednesday, April 16, 2003 from Noon until 7 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
