Patti was born on August 8, 1952 in Kenmare, ND, the daughter of Robert and Patricia (Knox) Schilken. She was educated in Minot and graduated from Bishop Ryan High School in 1970. She married William (Bo) Miller on July 6, 1974 in Minot. They lived in Minot where she was employed by the Minot Commission on Aging. They later moved to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where she was employed by the Iowa State Correctional Institution. They then moved to Chaska, Minnesota, where she was employed by the Minnesota Women's Correctional Facility. At the time of her death, she was employed at the security office of Northwest Airlines in Minneapolis. While living in Minot she enjoyed playing softball. Survivors: husband, William (Bo) Miller, Chaska; son, Tyler Miller, Chaska; daughter, Jessica Miller, Chaska; mother, Patricia Schilken, Minot; brothers, Jay (Shelley) Schilken, St. Cloud, MN and Rick (Carla) Schilken, Glenburn, ND; sisters, Gayle (Dick) Vogel, Chanhassen, MN, Kathie (George) Lach, Minot and Jeani (Jim) Geer, Minot; mother-in-law, Edna Miller, Cedar Rapids, IA. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Schilken. There was a service on Friday in Shakopee, Minnesota.
