Maxine Miller 1927 - 2002 Maxine A. Miller, 75, 105 6th St. NE, Minot, died Monday, July 8, 2002 in her home. She was born on March 28, 1927, the daughter of Ole and Agnes (Lindberg) Berger, in Battle Lake, MN. She attended school in the Battle Lake area. After her schooling, she moved to Minneapolis, MN, where she worked at Sears Roebuck. She married Chris Miller on October 6, 1951, in Reno, NV. They lived in Marysville, CA, for a time. They moved to Fergus Falls, MN, and lived there until 1957. They moved to Minot in 1958, and she went to work for Trinity Hospital. In 1970, she went to work for K Mart, and remained there until her retirement in 1994. In her spare time, Maxine enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, crocheting, and playing bingo. She was also a loyal supporter and fan of the Minnesota Twins baseball team. Survivors: four sons, Peter, Spearfish, SD, Paul, Perry, and Palmer, all of Minot; three daughters, Phyllis Miller, Belle Fourche, SD, Penny Holdaway, Spring Creek, ,NV, and Peggy Smith, Minot,; 23 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one sister, Beatrice Ullrich, Sacramento, CA; numerous nieces and nephews. Her husband, Chris; parents; an infant son, Pat Christian; and one sister, Corrine Bryant, preceded her in death Funeral Service: Monday, July 15, 2002, at 11:00 a.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot, ND. Visitation: Sunday, July 14, 2002, from noon to 5:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot. Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND. Music Active Pallbearers: Peter Miller, Chris E.
