John E. Miller 1940 - 2002 John E. Miller, 62, Donnybrook, died Friday in a Minot hospital from injuries sustained in a farm accident. John was born March 29, 1940, in Minot, ND, the son of Clarence and Eva (Gregoire) Miller. He was raised and educated in the Donnybrook area and graduated from Donnybrook High School in 1958. On August 31, 1960 he married Beverly Feldner in Donnybrook, ND. John farmed and ranched in Renville County, north of Donnybrook John was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Donnybrook, where he served as trustee of the church and was also a member of the church cemetery board. He was a member of the Donnybrook School Board, and served as supervisor for the Renville County Soil Conservation District. He also served on the Ivanhoe Township Board. John was a man with strong hands and a kind heart. His life was devoted to God and his entire family. He took great pride in his children and grandchildren. John was very involved in his children and grandchildren's activities. He was a man of few words, but his words had great meaning. His sense of humor will be forever remembered. John's wife was his strength through thick and thin, and she was always there to help on the farm. John and Bev have been happily married for 42 years, and recently celebrated their 40th Wedding Anniversary with family and friends. Survivors: Wife, Bev, Donnybrook; daughters, Jamie Miller, Minot, Lisa (Ken) Keysor, Kenmare, Brenda Miller, Minot; sons, Brent (Cheryl) Miller, Donnybrook, Wade (Bobbi) Miller, and Shane (Tonya) Miller, all of Bismarck; grandchildren, Kacy, Kody, and Konnor Keysor, Kayla, Kelsey, Kendra, and Kortni Miller, and Taylor and Macey Miller; mother, Eva Miller, Donnybrook; brother, Dave (Sharon) Miller, Donnybrook; sisters, Donna (Stan) Peterson, Redmond, OR, Joan Stein of San Carlos, CA, and her special friend, Jay Bourgerie of Nevada, and Sharon (Curtis) Graff, Donnybrook; mother-in-law, Myrtle Feldner, Donnybrook; brother-in-law, Roger (Joleen) Feldner, Bottineau; sister-in-law, Charlene (Bruce) Ough, Columbus, Ohio; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins survive. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Miller, and nephew Curtis Peterson. Funeral: Monday, October 28, 2002, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Donnybrook. Visitation: Sunday, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Kenmare, and 6:30 to 7:30 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Donnybrook with the rosary recitation Sunday at 7:30 p.m., at the church.
