Dorothy L. Miller • 1924 - 2011 Dorothy L. Harris was born February 24, 1924 in Drake, ND to Harry and Lydia Harris. She was raised and educated in Drake. Dorothy married Oscar Miller of Anamoose, ND. They lived in Drake for a time before moving to Libby, MT. Oscar passed away in 1976. Following his death she moved to Williston. Dorothy later moved to Minot and retired back to Drake where she since had lived. Dorothy held management positions while living in Libby, MT and Williston, ND. She always remained active in her son’s lives and took great pride in their accomplishments. She had a big heart and would take care of others needs before hers. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Minot. Dorothy was a wonderful lady who will be deeply missed. Those who shared in her life, sons, James (Marlys) Miller, Moorhead, MN, Tom Miller, Drake, ND and Roy Miller, Minot, ND; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Harold Harris, Velva, ND; numerous nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Oscar; daughter, Kayleen K. Miller and sister, Harriette Kaul. Funeral: Friday, August 19, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot. Visitation: Friday, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot, ND.
