Dianne Miller • 1944 - 2006 Dianne Coleen Blomquist was born on June 13, 1944, the daughter of Clifford and Bernice (Melberg) Blomquist in Powers Lake, ND. She was raised on the family farm near Battleview and graduated from Powers Lake High School in 1962. She then attended the Wahpeton State School of Science where she completed her LPN certification. Dianne was married to Stan Miller on July 23, 1965, at the Bethel Lutheran Church, Battleview, ND. She had worked as a nurse and a health care provider for 43 years in Grafton, Beulah and Kenmare, ND. She had also worked in home care in Center and Killdeer, ND. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Powers Lake, ND. She enjoyed baking, gardening, sewing, shopping, and going to rummage sales. She also enjoyed going their lake cabin at Van Hook and loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her loving family includes: husband of 41 years, Stan Miller,
Powers Lake, ND; Dianne was preceded in death by her father, Clifford; step-father, Clarence Carlson, and grandchildren, Jacob Miller and baby Albrecht. Funeral: Monday, October 30, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. at
