Edward G. Middendorf, 91, Mohall formerly of Minot, died Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at the North Central Good Samaritan Center in Mohall, ND.

Edward was born September 8, 1916 in Muskego Township, Renville County, the son of George and Elizabeth (Engelhard) Middendorf. He was raised and educated in Muskego Township, Renville County, ND.

Edward lived and farmed in Muskego Township until 1985, when he moved to Minot. In recent years he moved to the North Central Good Samaritan Center in Mohall, ND.

While living on the farm Edward was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church, rural Foxholm until it closed. He then became of member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Foxholm. While living in Minot he was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Eagles Aerie, both in Minot.

Those who shared in his life, brother-in-law, Cornelius O'Keeffe, Mohall and a number of nieces and nephews.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Urban and LaVerne Middendorf; sisters, Genevieve Koetter, Julitta O'Keeffe and Lucille Middendorf.

Funeral: Friday, August 22, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Minot, ND.

Visitation and vigil prayer service: Visitation will be Thursday, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., with the vigil prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Burial: Friday at 12:30 p.m. at St. Henry's Catholic Cemetery, rural Foxholm, ND.
