Thelma Ovidia Michelson 1915 - 2004

Thelma Ovidia Michelson, 88, 305 8th Ave NE, Minot, ND, died Wednesday, April 14, 2004, in a Minot nursing home.

She was born on June 6, 1915, in Newburg, ND, the daughter of Engebret and Anne (Templin) Michelson. She was raised in rural Newburg and graduated from Newburg High School in 1933. Thelma moved to Minot with her father in 1955. While living in Minot, Thelma provided daycare and domestic duties for people in their homes.

Thelma was a member of Holden Lutheran Church in rural Newburg and later while living in Minot First Lutheran Church.

Survivors: sisters, Nora Esterby, Minot, and Astrid Vinje, Glasgow, MT; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Melvin Michelson.

Funeral Service: Monday, April 19, 2004, at 10 a.m. at Trinity Homes Chapel, Minot.

Visitation; Sunday, April 18, 2004, from Noon until 5 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot.
