Audrey Olson Meier 1942 - 2011 Audrey Olson was born on May 17, 1942, a daughter of Andrew and Mary Eva (Dexheimer) Olson in Minot, ND. She was raised and educated in the Garrison area. On August 31, 1959, Audrey was united in marriage to Herman Joseph Meier at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Makoti, ND. After spending several years in road construction, they made their home in Harvey, ND, until 1969, when they moved to Minot, ND, where they raised three daughters. Audrey was a wonderful mother and housewife. She volunteered many years at the gift shop, as well as other various groups and activities at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, as well as dedicating many hours to the Fatima traveling statue. Herman and Audrey enjoyed traveling whether it was traveling on the many Minot Public Schools activities bus driven by Herman, going on a family vacation every year, or taking pilgrimages around the world. Friends and family meant everything to her. Not only being a wonderful mother, she took pride in being a wonderful grandmother and great-grandmother and friend.
