Jeneav C. McCloud 1929 - 2009 Jeneav C. Ronning was born January 14, 1929 in Minot, ND, to Lloyd and Florence (Buethe) Ronning. She was raised in Minot and graduated from Minot High School in 1946. She lived in several places throughout her lifetime, including, Chicago, Ill., Wahpeton, ND, Los Angelas, CA, Hebron, ND, and she spent many summers with her grandmother in Montevideo, MN. Jeneav was once married to George Ness. They were married in June of 1946. In 1969, she married John McCloud. They made their home in Minot, where she held several jobs as a waitress, cashier, housekeeper, schoolyard supervisor, and Certified Nursing Assistant. Jeneav loved dancing, fishing, playing bingo, listening to music, reading and gardening, but she dearly loved her husband, John and all of her children and families. She was a former member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Montevideo, MN. While living in Minot she was a member of Our Savior Lutheran for many years. Jeneav enjoyed volunteering and was a volunteer at Trinity ICU for several years, and also volunteered at Jefferson Elementary School as a playground supervisor for two years. She was a wonderful lady, who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Those who shared in her life, husband, John, Minot; children, Lee (Linda) Ness, Auburn, WA; Gerry Ness, Mukilteo, WA; Tim (Jeannie) Ness, Cedar Rapids, IA; Jamie (Gary Larson) Hoffer, Minot; Judith (Peter) Geck, Mandan, ND; Juli (Mark) Johnson, Regan, ND and Michael McCloud, Minot; 17 grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; one sister, Adabel Tavenner; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Jeneav was preceded in death by her first husband, George Ness; her parents, and sister, Jacqueline Letvin. Funeral: Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Minot, ND. Visitation: Tuesday, September 22, 2009, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot. Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND. Officiating Clergy; Pastor Paul Krueger Music: Pastor Paul Krueger and Bonnie Rennich, duet Congregational Hymns Honorary Bearers: All of Jeneav's family and friends Active Bearers: Jeneav's sons: Lee Ness, Gerry Ness, Tim Ness, Mike McCloud Everyone is invited to join the family for lunch and fellowship in the church fellowship hall.
