Donna Matejovic 1946 - 2008 Donna Lou Bauer was born July 26, 1946, a daughter of William E. and Alice O. (Lien) Bauer, in Minot. She was raised in Tagus and attended grade school there. When the school closed, she transferred to Palermo and graduated as class Valedictorian from Palermo High School. She then attended college in Minot. She was once employed as the office manager at Altas Ready Mix and then at Action Ready Mix. At the time of her death, she was employed at the Minot Air Force Base Commissary. She worked as a support clerk for the last 18 years. Donna was once married to Mike Matejovic. From this union, a son, William was born. She was a former member of Bread of Life Lutheran Church, Minot, and had been attending St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Minot. She was an avid Nodak Race Car fan and enjoyed watching her son, Will, race. Her hobbies included camping, fishing, collecting antiques, crocheting, quilting, sewing, painting, and wood crafts. She was a member of Seasonal Spice Craft group, participating in their yearly craft show. She also enjoyed attending game nights with her lady friends and Saturday evening dinners with her cousin, Janice Hagen. She loved horses and animals, especially her dog, Max. She is survived by and will be greatly missed by: son, Will Matejovic and his wife, Sharol, and their three children, Brandon, Austin, and Marisa, all of Logan, ND; sister, Joan (Harrison) Myers, Berthold; nieces and nephews, Bradley (Michelle) Myers, Minot, Mark Myers, Berthold, and Andrea (Randy) Anderson and their children, Shane and Kevin of Ryder; and several cousins. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, William and Alice Bauer; and aunts and uncles. Funeral: Thursday, December 4, 2008, at 11:00 a.m.
