Beverly Martin 1937 - 2006 Beverly Martin, 68, 11-18th Ave. SE, Minot, ND, died Friday, March 3, 2006, in a Minot hospital. Beverly Ann Buettner was born on March 20, 1937, the daughter of Henry and Vivian (Martinson) Buettner in Minot, ND. When Beverly was very young her father, Henry passed away. Vivian was later married to Joe Savelkoul, who played an important role in her life. She attended St. Leo's Catholic School, Minot. Beverly was married to Clifford J. Martin on January 5, 1956, in Minot. They made their home in Minot and worked for several retail gas businesses. In the early 70's, Beverly went to work for Joe's Bar and Dine in Minot. She also made custom made draperies for Voeller's Furniture and for personal clients out of her home for a number of years. Clifford passed away on September 24, 2001. She would spend her summers at Lake Metigoshe, enjoying the view and feeding the wild life. She also enjoyed cooking, crossword puzzles, jig-saw puzzles and reading. She was fondly referred to by her children and their friends as "Momma Duck." Surviving family includes: daughter, Shanda Lewis, Minot; son, Corey Martin, Minot; grandchildren, Chase and Clarence Martin; brother, Gerald (Pat) Buettner, Minot; niece, Cheryl (Rodney) Kremer, Burlington; nephew, Byron Buettner, Minot. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Clifford. Funeral: Tuesday, March 7, 2006, at 1 pm at Thompson-Larson
