Everett E. Marsh 1915 - 2003

Everett E. Marsh, 87, 3212 7th St SW, Minot, formerly of Newburg, died Wednesday, March 5, 2003, at a Minot hospital.

He was born May 16, 1915, in Pratt Township, McHenry County, ND, the son of Norris and Alma (Boll) Marsh. He was educated in Pratt County Country School.

He married Leah Bertsch on October 25, 1946, at Eckman, ND. Leah died on February 7, 1971.

Everett married Ruth Hand on January 17, 1976, at Minot, ND. Everett farmed on his family farmstead until 1998 when he moved to Minot.

Everett was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Glenburn. He was also a member of the Lansford Threshers Association and the Mouse River Soil Conservation. He recently attended Christ Lutheran Church, Minot. He was also instrumental in the construction of Trinity Lutheran Church, Glenburn.

Survivors: wife, Ruth, Fallon, NV; daughter, Corliss Kellogg (Bill), Gettysburg, SD ; sons, Galen Marsh (Linda), Minot and Donald Marsh (Linda), Newburg, ND; step-daughter, Charlene Blumhagen, Fallon, NV; three grandchildren, Joshua, Matthew and Jacob Marsh; seven step grandchildren, Lisa Miles and Rachel Bozeman, Chad and Monica Blumhagen, and Paul, Rebecca and Elizabeth Kellogg; sisters, Alice Berg, Othello, WA, Irene Stevenson, Velva, ND, and Izetta Krenz, Newburg, ND and numerous nieces and nephews . He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Leah, sister, Blanch Bradford, and brothers Ernest and Lester Marsh.

Funeral Service: Monday, March 10, 2003, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Glenburn, ND.

Visitation: Sunday, March 9, 2003 from Noon until 5 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Burial: Riverside Cemetery, Eckman, ND. Burial will take place in the spring.
