Terry Marks • 1964 - 2003 Terry Marks, 38, Granville, died Monday, April 14, 2003, at his residence. He was born September 14, 1964, at St. Andrews Hospital Bottineau, ND, the son of Alvin and Adeline (Mettler) Marks. He was reared and educated in Upham and graduated from Upham High School in 1982. After graduation Terry worked in Canada for a local farmer. Terry was once employed with Excavating Incorporated, Olson's Landscaping and Keller Paving all of Minot He married Jill (Sandell) on September 25, 1998 in Granville, ND. On January 1st 2001, Terry and Jill purchased the Branding Iron Bar in Granville. He continued to own and operate the bar until the time of his death. He was a member of First Lutheran Church, Granville. Survivors: wife, Jill, Granville; son, Tyler; stepsons,
Travis and Jesse, Granville; mother, Adeline Marks, Bottineau,
ND; brothers, Curtis Marks, Newburg, ND, Clyde Marks, Vernal,
UT, Greg Marks, Kramer, ND, Wayne Marks (Lori), Rapid City, SD;
sisters, Karen Marks, San Diego, CA, Patty Monson (Larry), Bottineau,
and Deanna Holen (Kirby), Upham, ND; numerous nieces and nephews
also survive. He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin,
brother, Orin and his grandparents. Visitation: Wednesday, April 16, 2003, from Noon until 7 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot. Burial: Peace Reformed Cemetery, rural Upham, ND. Burial
will take place at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Music: "O Love That Will Not Let Me Go" "On
