Dorothy (Strom) Marcy • 1929 - 2002 Dorothy (Strom) Marcy, 72, 1809 4th Ave. NW, Minot, died Thursday, April 25, 2002, at a Minot medical center. She was born June 8, 1929, in Chatfield, MN, the daughter of Thomas and Lulu (Larson) Strom. She was reared and educated in Chatfield and later moved to Crosby where she graduated from high school. She married Leo Marcy on June 10, 1975, in St. Paul, MN. The couple made their home in Minot where Dorothy worked for the Lutheran Home now known as Trinity Homes and the Americana Nursing Home now known as Manor Care. Leo died on January 21, 1996, in Minot. Dorothy continued to live in Minot until her death. Survivors: sons, Leo Marcy, Minot, and Dean Marcy, Atlanta, GA; daughters, Vicki Marcy, Minot and Vivian Marcy, Atlanta, GA; two grandchildren, Dallas and Cody Marcy; brother, Paul Strom, Crosby, ND. Her husband, Leo and her parents preceded her in death. Funeral Service: Tuesday, April 30, 2002, at 11 a.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot. Visitation: Monday, April 29, 2002, from Noon until 7 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
