Gary Marcil • 1952 - 2004 Gary A. Marcil, 52, 1201-4th St. SW, Minot, ND, died Tuesday, October 5, 2004, at a Minot nursing home. Gary Alfred Marcil was born on February 5, 1952, the son of Alfred A. Marcil and Helen I. (Oliver) Jorgensen in Minot, ND. He was raised and educated there. He attended Edison Elementary school, Jim Hill Jr. High School, and Minot Central Campus. He later attained his GED, attended Idaho State University, where he graduated with a degree in Computer Sciences in 1989. Following his graduation, he was employed by West One Bank, in Boise, ID. He returned to Minot in 1992, and was employed by SRT as their computer programmer. Gary enjoyed computers, reading, and using his metal detector. Surviving family includes: mother: Helen Jorgensen of Minot;sisters: Sylvia (Richard) Williams of San Diego, CA; Sherry (Chuck) Aldrich of Pocatello, ID; Elena Jorgensen of Minot; and Algina (Lyle) Johnson of Dayton, NV; several nieces and nephews and all his great nieces and nephews. Gary was preceded in death by his father, Alfred A. Marcil and step-father, Leo S. Jorgensen. Funeral: Saturday, October 9, 2004 at 4:00 p.m. atThompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot ND.
