Agnes Manning 1919 - 2011

Agnes Augusta Anderson was born June 2, 1919, a daughter of August and Marie (Nielson) Anderson, in Williston, ND. She was raised and educated in Williston.

Agnes married Edward C. Manning June 25, 1939, in Minot. They made their home in Minot, where she worked for the Minot Country Club as a waitress for a short time before working at the Jupiter Store as a clerk for several years.

Edward passed away November 17, 1996. Following his death, she continued to reside in Minot.  

She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Minot, and volunteered many hours with the Trinity Auxiliary at the Trinity Hospital Gift Shop.

Surviving family includes:  daughters, Margaret “Cookie” (Bruce) Walker, Sun Lakes, AZ, and Susan (Frederick) Seaman, Bellevue, NE; six grandchildren;12 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; sister, Mildred Nikula, Seattle, WA; and several nieces and nephews.

Agnes was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward; brother, Hogan Anderson; and sisters, Helen Lovely, and Margaret Doherty.

A Private Family Graveside Service will take place at Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
In lieu of flowers, memorials: are preferred to Trinity Hospice.
