Kathryn Marie Wiedeman Maggard, 93, Minot, ND, died December 30, 2006, in a Minot hospital.

Kathryn was born July 5, 1913, in Aberdeen, SD, the daughter of Andrew and Margaret Detling. She attended school and graduated from Aberdeen High School.

On Jan 25, 1933, she married Harold Wiedeman. They moved to Minot in 1949. She and Harold owned and operated 4th Avenue Conoco for many years. Harold died in 1966. She married Cliff Maggard in 1977 and they moved to Rapid City. He died in 1996. Following his death she returned to Minot and in recent years she has resided at Trinity Nursing Home.

She was a member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, Minot.

Kathryn enjoyed traveling and visiting her relatives and friends.

She is survived by her son, Robert (Mary Ann) Wiedeman, Phoenix, AZ, and her daughter, Linda (John) Sorensen of Sebring, FL, daughter-in-law, Ione Wiedeman, Minot, as well as 8 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her two husbands and her son, Edward.

Visitation: Thursday, January 4, 2007 from 2:00 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot

Vigil Prayer Service: Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot

Mass of Christian Burial: Friday, January 5, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, Minot

Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND.
