Mariann C. Lux 1919- 2010 Mariann Ceacila Boechler was born June 28, 1919, to Frank and Katherine (Holzer) Boechler, on the family farm near Karlsruhe, ND. She attended school through the eighth grade in Karlsruhe. On April 9, 1947 Mariann married Loran Lux at St. Leo’s Catholic Church in Minot. Following their marriage they made their home in Minot, and managed a restaurant for a time. Mariann also worked as a cook for the Elks Club and Erna’s Restaurant and later home health care. Besides raising her eight children she mothered a lot of other souls. Her husband Loren passed away on May 19, 2009. Mariann was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church, Minot. She was a member of the Confraternity of Christian Mothers and various other groups in the parish. In her younger days she was a member of the Catholic War Veterans. Those who shared in her life, children, Elizabeth Bayramian, Bozeman, MT, David Lux, Jamestown, ND, Joseph Lux, Toledo, OH, Archie (Joanne) Lux, Robinson, ND, Marie (Daniel) Swinford, New Castle, KY; grandchildren, Andrew (Laurie) Bayramian, Peter Bayramian, Jessica (Jared) Byerly, Michael Bayramian, Rose (James) Tallon, Jenny Swinford, Anita (Danny) Davis, Edith Harris, Rebecca (Joe) King, Heather Lux, Kerry Statczny, Jason Lux, Amanda and Mark Lux; great-grandchildren, Lucas and Gabriel Bayramian, Brandon and Dale Davis, Reeda Harris, Orion Tallon, Raymond Taylor, Jameson Lux and David King; sisters-in-law, Mary Boechler, Claire Boechler, Anne Boechler, and Mary Rose Boechler; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mariann was preceded in death by her husband, Loran E. Lux; sons, Patrick Loran, Roger Frank and Mark Anthony Lux; son-in-law, Ronald Bayramian; siblings, Eva Brunner, Conrad Boechler, Michael Boechler, Teresa Leibhan, Philip Boechler, Alphonse Boechler and John Boechler. Funeral: Thursday, April 29, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church, Minot, ND. Visitation: There will be no reviewal, but friends may sign the guest register one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND. Celebrant of the Liturgies: Father Fred Harvey Music Honorary Urn Bearers: Mariann’s family and friends Following the graveside service everyone is invited to Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, located at 707 16th Ave. SW, Minot, for lunch and fellowship. Please park in the southwest parking lot at the church and use the southwest entrance. Our family would like to thank everyone for the many acts of kindness shown during this difficult time.
