Carey Ray Lund 1959 - 2010 Carey was born on June 17, 1959, a son of Gordon and Darlene (Thompson) Lund in Denver, CO. He was raised and educated in Colorado. In 1976, Carey enlisted into United States Army and was stationed in Texas, then transferred to Korea, where he served until his honorable discharge in 1979. Following his discharge, Carey joined the Iron Worker's Apprentice Program. He worked as an Iron worker Journeyman in San Francisco, CA. He came to North Dakota to visit his parents and stayed. While in ND, he was employed by Central Machine and Pump Repair, Minot Lumber and Hardware, Trinity Hospital and most recently, Taco Johns. Carey was a creative artist with nature's materials and was a very friendly communicator. He will be greatly missed. Carey is survived by: Parents Gordon (Jean) Lund,
Bottineau, ND; Siblings: Mary (John) Busch, Mountain Home, AR,
Tony (Teresa) Lund, Santa Clara, CA and a special friend Linda
Mosser, Minot; Carey was preceded in death by his mother, and uncle Richard Thompson. Private family services will be held at a later date, with
burial to follow at Our Saviors Lutheran Cemetery, McGregor,
ND. Carey will be buried next to his mother and uncle. |
