Diane Lynn Luckey • 1961- 2006 Diane was born on April 28, 1961, at Trinity Hospital in Minot, ND, the daughter of Harvey and Linda (Clark) Steen. She grew up on the family farm Northeast of Glenburn, ND. Growing up Diane was involved in 4-H, cheerleading, Farmer's Union youth activities and gymnastics. She graduated from Glenburn High School in 1979. After high school she attended Minot State University. Diane worked for several years doing secretarial and clerical work. She was once married to Timothy Luckey. Rachel Marie Luckey was born to the couple on October 7, 1982. With loving devotion, she raised her daughter in Granville, ND. Diane filled her days reading the Bible, bird watching, watching television, and listening to country and gospel music. Diane loved life, her family, camping and traveling with her family. She had a deep faith in God, which carried her through life. Everyone will always remember her big smile and bright eyes. Survivors include her daughter, Rachel Luckey and her fiancée John Gruenberg, Minot; parents, Harvey and Linda Steen, Maxbass, sister, Roberta (Terry) Erickson, Minot; brothers, Tracy (Carolyn) Steen, Minot and Vance Steen, Maxbass; nine nieces and nephews, two great-nieces, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother, Lance Steen, grandparents
and several aunts and uncles. Visitation: Sunday, July 23, 2006, from Noon until 5 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot Burial: Fairview Cemetery, Glenburn.
