Stanley Lozensky 1951 - 2008 Stanley was born on September 15, 1951, the son of Max and Velma "Susan" (Coons) Lozensky in Minot, ND. He was raised and educated in Minot, attending Minot Public Schools. He then attended Minot State University and later Dickinson State University where he received his bachelor's degree. In 1968, he married to Sandy Johnson. They had a son, Jeff. He and Sandy later divorced. On December 2, 1988, Stanley was married to Deb Pratt. They made their home in Dickinson, ND, with their two daughters, Rachel and Michelle. While in Dickinson, Stanley worked as a Licensed Nurse Practitioner at several area nursing homes, before ill health forced him to retire. He was also a Literature Evangelist in North Dakota for many years. Stanley was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed training black and yellow Labrador dogs. He worked many hours reloading his own shells to take on his many hunting trips. He is survived by: Deb Lozensky, Dickinson, ND; Children: Jeff (Kristi) Lozensky, Peekskill, NY, Rachel Lozensky and Michelle Lozensky, Dickinson; step-daughter: Erika (Robert) Hamilton, Minot, ND; Two grandchildren: Amber Lozensky and Alice Hamilton: siblings: Dennis Lozensky, Minot, Pastor Stewart (Heidi) Lozensky, Watertown, SD, Vicky (Jerry) Mernone, Gig Harbor, WA, Valerie Lozensky, Tacoma, WA, Vanna (Rob) Fisk, Denver, CO; father: Max Lozensky, Velva, ND; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Velma. Visitation: Monday from 3-7 at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot with a prayer service at 7 p.m. in the chapel.
