Patricia "Pat"
Lorntson 1922 - 2003 Patricia "Pat" Lorntson, 61, died Friday, July 4, 2003, in her residence of natural causes. She was born on October 15, 1941, in Minot, ND to Clifford
and Evelyn (Williams) Prescott. She attended Minot public schools
for several years and graduated from Mandan High School in 1959.
She attended nursing school in Washington State and received
her nursing certificate. She lived in Kenosha WI, for a time.
She was once married to Ronald Lorntson. They were later divorced.
She returned to Minot and worked as a nurse for several doctors
in the Minot area, and later with Medical Arts Clinic. She worked
as a seamstress for Bray's Cleaners for about nine years before
her retirement due to ill health. She spent much of her later
years caring for her thirty-year companion, Clinton Kerzman,
who died in 1998. She was living in Minot at the time of her
death. Survivors: four children, Daniel St. Claire, Minot, Brenda (Brian) Schmugge, Ogilvie, MN, Renee (John) Fossen, Minot, Theresa (Brian) Marten, Jacksonville, FL; eight grandchildren, Melissa St. Claire, Christopher Lorntson, Travis Fossen, Nikita and Jacob Krausz, and Justen, Krystal and Curtis Marten; three brothers, Clifford Prescott, Richard Prescott, and James (Angelina) Prescott, all of Minot; two sisters, Rose Ann Richards, Minot, and Kathleen (Steve) Schiff, Surrey, ND; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Her parents, companion, Clinton Kerzman, two sisters and two brothers preceded her in death. Funeral Mass: Friday, July 11, 2003, 10:30 a.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church, Minot, ND.
