Yvonne C. Lorenz • 1932 - 2007 Yvonne was born June 1, 1932 in Minot, ND, the daughter of Otto and Gladys (Willson) Stober. She was raised in Ruso, ND, where she attended grade school. She attended Velva High School and graduated in 1950. On November 5, 1950, Yvonne married Merle Lorenz at Ruso, ND. They moved to Minot and Yvonne was employed at Ellison's Department Store for two years. She then worked at Sear's Roebuck for 20 years until she retired in 1987. Yvonne was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Minot. Those who shared in her life, Son, Richard (Darlene) Lorenz, Hooksett, New Hampshire; two grandchildren, Tessa and Drew Lorenz; sister, Kay (Vince) Hedrick, Jacksonville, N.C.; sister-in-law, Vida Mae (Lawrence) Petersen, Bismarck, ND; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends survive. Yvonne was preceded in death by her husband, Merle; her parents; and an aunt, Clara Loorence, who lived with Yvonne and Merle. Memorial Service: Thursday, November 8, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, Minot, ND. Visitation: There will be no reviewal, but friends may sign the guest register Wednesday from noon to 7:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, ND. Burial: A private burial will take place at a later time. Memorials are preferred to the Humane Society in Minot, or to an organization of the donor's choice. Officiant: Rev.
