Ilean Logan 1917 - 2003

Ilean Logan, 86, 1913 3rd St. NW, Minot, died Friday in a Minot hospital.

She was born March 5, 1917, in Lignite, ND, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob and Thena Schouten. She attended country school in Vale Township and graduated from Lignite High School in 1936. After graduating, she attended beauty school in Minot and was employed at Brooks Beauty Salon and Northwest Beauty Shop. She also worked for one year in Seattle, WA. She then returned to Minot and became a partner in the Magic Beauty Shop. She married Kenneth Logan in 1947. Her husband preceded her in death on November 30, 1992.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Minot.

Survivors: sons, Ron (Debbie) Logan, Bismarck and Robert Logan, Helena, MT; son-in-law, Randy Williams, Minot; grandchildren, David (Conseula) Devine, Nathan Logan, Casey Logan, Bailey Logan, Kelly Williams and J.C. Williams and one great-grandchild, Destiny Devine.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; son, Roger Logan; daughter, GeNell Williams; grandson, Devin Devine and her parents.

Funeral: Tuesday, 2:00 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Minot.

Visitation: Monday from noon until 7:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot.
