Tara Leonard • 1976 - 2007 Tara was born September 29, 1976, in Minot, ND, the daughter of Ronald and Kathryn (Whalley) Leonard. She was raised and educated in Minot, graduating from Minot High School. Tara was a country music fan and enjoyed attending the country concerts at the North Dakota State Fair. She was a very social person and she collected stuffed animals. Tara was very close to her friends and family, especially her father who passed away several years ago. Survivors: Mother, Kathryn Leonard, Fargo; brother, Mark (Colleen) Leonard, Minneapolis, MN; sisters, Clare Shields and Holly (David) Cleary, all of Fargo; nephews and niece, Jakob Doane, Kirsten and Daniel Cleary; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Tara was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Leonard, and her grandparents. Memorial Service: Tuesday (today), July 31, 2007, at 3:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot, ND. Visitation: There will be no reviewal, but friends may sign the register Tuesday, one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot, ND. Officiant: Rev.
