Maurice Latendresse • 1913 - 2002 Maurice J. Latendresse, 89, Granville, died Friday, May 3, 2002, in a Minot nursing home. Maurice was born April 15, 1913, on the family farm near Upham, ND, the son of Edmond and Cordelia (Prudam) Latendresse. He was raised and educated in Upham. He had a team of horses he worked with and he worked for area farmers. He also ranched with his brother Art and raised dairy cattle. Maurice never married. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and the Senior Citizens, both in Granville. He enjoyed playing whist, visiting and his meals at the senior center. Survivors: Sister, Lena Hansen, Yuma, AZ; brothers, Leo (Vi) Latendresse, Albert Latendresse, and Orville (Ruth) Latendresse, all of Upham; several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Homer, Art and Vern Latendresse; sisters, Mabel Johnson and Fabiola Thorson. Funeral: Tuesday, May 7, 2002, at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Granville, ND. Visitation: Monday, from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot. Burial: Granville Community Cemetery, Granville, ND.
