Laurence J. "Larry" Larson 1920- 2009 Laurence was born on March 4, 1920, a son of Joseph and Laura (Sevland) Larson in Minot, ND. He was raised and educated in Minot, graduating from Minot Model High School. Following his graduation, Laurence began working for the Great Northern Railroad. On January 10, 1944, Laurence was united in marriage to Bonnie Jean Freund in Minot. They made their home in Minot, where Laurence worked as a Railroad Engineer for the Burlington Northern. He retired in 1985. Following his retirement, Laurence worked part time for Westlie Motor Company, transporting vehicles. Bonnie died April 17, 2004. He continued to live in Minot. Laurence was a Charter member of the Little Flower Church, in Minot. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.
