Ora "Betty" Larkins
• 1917 - 2003 Ora Elizabeth "Betty" Warren Larkins, 85, died Tuesday, June 10, 2003, at a Kenmare hospital of a stroke and complications of diabetes. She was born October 26, 1917, in Pompeys Pillar, MT, the daughter of John Newton and Ora Ella (Ney) Warren. She was raised by her grandparents, Sarah and Benjamin Warren and her father at Nibbe and Warden, MT. In 1935, she graduated from Huntley Project High School in Warden. After graduation she moved to Worland, WY, where she married C. Billy Larkins on April 14, 1940. To this union the couple had six children. Betty was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Stanley, ND, of which she dedicated much of her time and services. She was also an avid bowler and a Watkins sales representative for many years. She is survived by her husband, Billy, Kenmare; children, Dena (Dale) Olson, Denver, CO, Wayne (Diane) Larkins, Sheridan, WY, Arla (Selmer) Grasser, Williston, ND, Nola (Dave) Gleffe, Manderson, WY, Evelyn (Dennis) Eklund, Minot, and Clyde (Renee) Larkins, Story, WY; 11 grandchildren; six great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; brothers, Joseph Hopper, Idaho and James Hopper, California and numerous nieces and nephews also survive Betty was preceded in death by her, great great-granddaughter, Rachel Charron, parents, sister, Mary French and brother, Edward Hopper. A private family graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2003 at Riverview Memorial Gardens, Worland, WY.
