Rosella Laney 1914 - 2007 Rosella was born on December 31, 1914, in Kenmare, ND, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Rose (Mertes) Hoffman. She was reared and educated in Kenmare. Rosella married Joseph Lundgren on September 14, 1938, at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Kenmare. In November of 1951 Rosella entered San Haven Sanitarium to recover from Tuberculosis. The couple's children stayed at the St. Agnes Boarding School in Kenmare. Rosella returned to Kenmare where she was at Joseph's side until his death on September 1, 1952. She went back to San Haven where she underwent surgery for T.B. and later returned to Kenmare where she worked as a cook to support her family. Rosella married Francis Laney on November 10, 1962, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Kenmare. The couple lived in Kenmare where Rosella worked as a housekeeper and a seamstress. They wintered in Arizona for twelve years. Francis died on July 7, 1994. Rosella continued to live in Kenmare and in May of 2001 she entered the Kenmare Baptist Home where she lived until November of 2001 when she moved to Minot and entered Trinity Homes. She will be greatly missed by her loving family. Survivors: sons, Mark Lundgren, Green River, WY, Richard Lundgren, Gulfport, MS and Rodger Lundgren and his companion Janice, Green River, WY; daughters, Judy Diggins, Las Vegas, NV, Edith (Richard) Stark, Garrison, ND, Phyllis (Ron) Campbell, Kenmare, ND; Josephine (Larry) Raap, Mohall, ND and Lynn Lahren, Bismarck, ND; 26 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; sister, Rose Mary Ouse, Seattle, WA; sister-in-law, Bernice Hoffman, Milaca, MN. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Joseph and Francis, grandson, Wesley Lundgren, parents, brothers, Francis, James and John Hoffman and sisters, Loretta Folkert, Marie Schumacher, Doris Schumacher, Agnes Hunter-Goebel and Anna Lydon-Botsford. Memorials preferred to the St. Agnes Catholic Church Ladies, Youth Group or to the organization of the donors choice. Mass of Christian Burial: Saturday, November 17, 2007,
