Mary Ann Landaker 1931 - 2003

Mary Ann Landaker, 72, 1105 11 Ave. SE, Minot, died Wednesday, February 26, 2003 at her home.

She was born February 25, 1931 in Parshall, ND to William and Mary (Roth) Bonsall. She was reared and educated in Parshall.

She married Clement Landaker on September 30, 1954 in Parshall, ND. She moved to Grafton ND in 1957 and then moved to Minot, ND in 1984 where she has since lived. Clement died in May of 1971.

She was active at the Minot Vocational Workshop and at the Second Story in Minot. She enjoyed playing softball, shooting pool and polka music. She also loved to be involved with other people, taking special interest in the Trinitots program, the Meals on Wheels program and other volunteer activities. She was very kind and remembered and acknowledged everyone that she would meet. She had a nice sense of humor and especially enjoyed children.

She is survived by her son Lenny Landaker of Minot; half-brother Bob McNamara and his wife Mona of Belmond, Iowa; sister in law Evelyn Gaspar of Great Falls, MT and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her twin children Larry and Lou Ann who died in 1956, siblings Allan and Jerome and half siblings Claudia, Harold and James "Bill".

Funeral: Monday, March 3, 2003 at 11 a.m. at St. Leo's Catholic Church, Minot ND.
Rosary recitation: Monday at 10:30 a.m., at St. Leo's Catholic Church, Minot.

Visitation: Saturday and Sunday from noon until 5 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, ND.

Burial: Monday at 2:30 p.m., at St. Bridget Cemetery, Parshall, ND.
