Dora Kundinger 1914 - 2009 Dora Louise Kundiger was born May 22, 1914, the daughter of Reinhold and Agnes (Duwe) Kundiger in Flaxton, ND. Dora's mother, Agnes, passed away when Dora was nine months old. Following the death of her mother, Dora went to live with her paternal grandmother, Louise Kundiger and aunt, Emma Kundiger. Dora was raised and educated in Flaxton, and graduated from Flaxton High School. Dora loved her Lord and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Flaxton, where she was baptized and confirmed. She loved to read. She worked as a librarian for the Flaxton School and at the Memorial Hall in Flaxton for many years. Following her retirement, Dora continued to reside in Flaxton. During this time, she had become part of the Ernest and Heidi Eaton family. She would celebrate holidays and special events with them. When her health started to decline, she moved to Lignite and resided at Prairie Winds Homestead, with Naomi Nelson. Heidi Eaton, Naomi Nelson, and Amie Kraft, have all helped to take care of her. Surviving family includes: Dora was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Esther Lee; step-sister, Mildred Kundiger; and aunts and uncle, Emma Hark, and Emma and William Kundiger, and Naomi Nelson. Funeral: Friday, April 3, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at St.
