Delos W. "Del" Kriedeman 1931- 2006


Delos W. "Del" Kriedeman, 75, Minot, died Friday, November 10, 2006 in a Minot hospital.

Delos was born September 25, 1931, in Harvey, ND, to Paul F. and Lillie (Knuth) Kriedeman. He was raised on the family farm near Drake and attended country school in that area. In 1944, he moved to Minot where he attended Minot High School.

Delos enlisted in the United States Army in 1952 and was stationed in Japan. He served during the Korean Conflict and was honorably discharged in 1954. Following his discharge he returned to Minot.

On August 17, 1957, Delos married Erma Holen at Zion Lutheran Church in Minot. He worked at Blesener Oldsmobile from 1955 to 1985 when he retired.

He enjoyed hunting with his sons, camping, playing golf and was an avid gardener. He liked playing cards especially with his grandchildren. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion, both in Minot.

Survivors: Wife, Erma, Minot; sons, Kevin Kriedeman, Minot, and Kent Kriedeman, Burlington; daughter, Kerri (Bruce) Bulik, Fairfield, MT; two grandchildren, Matthew and Nicole Bulik; brother, Tyler Kriedeman, Garrison; sister-in-law, Lou Kriedeman, Seattle, WA; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Del was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Lillie Kriedeman, and a brother, Lloyd Kriedeman.

Funeral: Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church, Minot.

Visitation: Monday from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND.
