Peter George Kremer • 1926 - 2007 Peter was born on November 27, 1926, on the family farmstead in Karlsruhe, ND, the son of Stephen and Elizabeth (Wentz) Kremer. He was reared and educated in the Karlsruhe area and helped on the family farm while he was young. Peter married the former Julia Bachmeier on July 12, 1948 in Orrin, ND. He worked on various farms until 1955 when he moved into Velva when he went to work for various construction companies until he retired. Some of the companies that he worked for were Jack Bender Construction and for the last 15 years of his employment Minot Paving. They moved to Rugby in September of 2005. Peter loved pinochle, fishing and jigsaw puzzles. He was a member of St. Cecelia's Catholic Church, Velva. Peter is survived by his wife, Julia Kremer, Rugby, ND; children, Larry (Maxine) Kremer, Stanton, ND, Hilda (Tom) Hall, Melbourne, FL, Allan (Toni) Kremer, Sawyer and Ken (Jana) Kremer, Minot; grandchildren, Eric Kremer, Shelley Kremer, Joey (Diane) Amuso, Angela (Rico) Capparelli, Sarah (Bill) Baumann, Kristin Amuso, Jess (Nathan) Dicks, Blaine Kremer and his fiancée Megan Schultz, Brooke Kremer, Shadd Kremer, Paul Buettner, Molly Buettner, Scott (Diane) Hall and Stacy Vasta; eight great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Joe Kremer, Rugby, Ann Degenstein, Mitchell, SD, Phillip (Helen) Kremer, Rugby and Jill Lenertz, Minneapolis, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Jack, Fred, George and Tony and a sister, Christine Volk. Mass of Christian Burial: St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, Velva on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. Visitation: Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Velva on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 from 2 pm.
