Severin L. Klug 1947 - 2005 Severin L. Klug, 58, 710 Arbor Ave. SE, Minot, died Thursday, November 3, 2005 in a Minot Medical Center. Severin was born on June 25, 1947, in Little Falls, Minnesota, the son of Rev. Leonard and Jenevieve (Lund) Klug. He was baptized in Little Falls. The family left Little Falls, and moved to Estes Park, Colorado before moving to Barnsville, Minnesota where he graduated from Barnsville High School in 1966. He attended Moorhead Technical School for two years, majoring in carpentry, he then attended two years of school at Minneapolis Vocational School studying cabinet making. He moved to Minot in 1972 where he worked at Cliff's Custom Cabinet. He later worked at the Doughnut Shop with his brother-in-law, Terry Stevick for about 10 years. On October 19, 1974 he was united in marriage to Margaret Wollin at First Lutheran Church, Karlstad, Minnesota. Following their marriage, the couple made their home in Minot. Severin became custodian for the Minot Public Schools in 1985 and worked there for 20 years. At the present time he was custodian for Bel Air Elementary School and was a member of Union Local # 52, Minot. Severin was a founding member of New Life Lutheran Church, Minot, which was founded in 1990, and served on various boards there. He helped construct the new building that they are in. Severin was a former member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Minot for 15 years. He also was a Boy Scout chaperone when his son was in the Boy Scouts. He loved to do carpentry work and was general contractor on the home that they live and constructed the new addition they put on the house. He loved to help anyone that he could, either by cleaning windows or helping with the yardwork. When he wasn't helping people or working he loved to play pinochle or whist. He is survived by: Wife: Margaret Klug, Minot; son; Matthew Klug, Minot; Daughter, Andrea (Robert) Lenertz, Minot; brother; Cordell (Carolyn) Klug, Burnsville, MN; sister; Karn (Terry) Stevick, Minot. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. His faithful companion, Tippy also survives. He was preceded in death by: parents, Rev. Leonard and Jenevieve
Klug, and a brother Erick Winston Klug. Burial: Monday, November 7, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND Visitation: Saturday and Sunday from noon until 5 p.m.
