Lillian Kleppen 1916 - 2005 Lillian Kleppen, 89, Minot, formerly of Plentywood, MT, passed away December 19, 2005, at her daughter's home in Minot, ND. Lillian Mae Pederson was born May 17, 1916, to John and Freda (Moberg) Pederson at McGregor, ND. She graduated from McGregor High School and moved to Minnesota where she worked as a nanny and in a grocery store in Bruno. Later in Minneapolis she worked at Abbot Hospital as a nurse's aid on the pediatric ward. On April 19, 1941, she was married to Melvin V. Schott in Minneapolis, MN. He was killed in-action while serving in France during World War II. She resided with her parents at McGregor for several years and later moved to Plentywood, MT, where she was employed at the Messinger Dental Clinic from 1950-1962. She was married to Orrin Kleppen in Plentywood, MT, on June 16, 1962; they farmed at Outlook, MT. Lillian made two trips to Norway and Sweden to visit family. She enjoyed using her pretty china and crystal to entertain family and friends. She made quilts and embroidered dishtowels to give to special people in her life. It gave her great pleasure to keep her home clean and to give to others. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy (David) Snyder, Minot, ND, a step-son Harley (Julie) Kleppen, and a step-daughter, Lori (Mickey) McCall all of Plentywood, MT; one sister, Ethel Nelson, Duluth, MN; grandchildren, Sheri Snyder, Elko, NV, Kathryn (Kris) Lien, Minot, ND, Van (Jodi) Snyder, Blaine, MN, Heather (Steve) Webb, Fruita, CO, Justin (Roxy) Kleppen, Outlook, MT, Ryan Kleppen, Saint Cloud, MN, Heidi (Scotty) Dozier, Nettleton, MS, Zachary (Jen) McCall, Queen Creek, AZ, Amber McCall, Minot, ND, Kristin McCall, Plentywood, MT; and ten great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husbands; sisters, Evelyn Paulson, and Elsie Sutton; brothers, Melvin Peterson, Arnold Pederson, and Orval Pederson. Lillian made a commitment to follow Christ early in life and
served Him in the Plentywood United Methodist Church, where she
