Anna Kjellberg • 1913 - 2008 Anna was born May 15, 1913 on the family farm, north of Tagus, ND, the daughter of Knute and Austa (Hallen) Asmundson. She was raised in that area and educated in rural schools in Ree Township. Anna graduated from Minot High School in 1932. While in Minot Anna did housekeeping for several years for different area families. Anna married Joel Kjellberg in Glasgow, Montana. They made their home south of Blaisdell for four years and then bought a farm seven miles west of Berthold and she lived there all her life. Her husband died March 1, 1961. Anna was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Berthold. Those who shared in her life, Son, Norris J. (Margie) Kjellberg, Berthold; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Nora Asmundson, Berthold; several nieces and nephews. Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Joel; daughter, Darlene Guldeman; sisters, Agnes Shulkey and Emma Schultz; brothers, Nickolai, Henry, Halvar, Richard and Asmun "Dick" Asmundson. Funeral: Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Berthold. Visitation: Tuesday (today) from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. in Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, and Wednesday one hour prior to the service in the church. Burial: Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND Officiant: Rev.
