Ester Kingsnorth • 1915 - 2011 Ester Aldora Kingsnorth was born April 22, 1915, at Emmet, ND to George and Emma (Pederson) Kingsnorth. She attended grade school at Hackett School District #2, near Emmet, and graduated from high school in Douglas, ND in 1934. Ester lived and worked in Minot for over 60 years. She worked at Bader’s Department Store and Sears Roebuck as a seamstress, until her retirement. Ester was a member of the Non-Denominational Christians Those who shared in Ester’s life, sisters, Ann Jorde, Minot, and Mary Reimers, Missoula, MT; numerous nieces and nephews. Ester was preceded in death by her parents, George and Emma; two infant brothers; brother, Loren; sister, Julia Sigman, and great-nephew, Arly Sigman. Funeral: Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, ND. Visitation: Wednesday, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND. Memorials in Ester’s name may be sent to a charity of the donor’s choice. |
