Louise Frances Kerzmann 1915 - 2005

Louise Frances Kerzmann, 90, 815 11th St. NW, Minot, died Wednesday, October 19, 2005, at ManorCare Health Services.

Louise was born October 13, 1915, in Bismarck, ND, the daughter of Fred and Martha (Warnke) Kerzmann. She was raised on the family farm in Black Water, ND and attended grade school there. She then attended Garrison High School. She lived on the family farm and helped with the chores and especially liked to cook.

In 1953 she moved to Minot to help care for her mother who had suffered a stroke. Her mother passed away in 1958. Following her mother's death she continued to live in Minot. Louise took care of many families in this area, by doing housekeeping work, cooking, or watching their children.

Louise was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church, Minot, and the Confraternity of Christian Mothers.

Survivors: Sisters, Evelyn (Herb) Knopfle, Minot, and Georgette Iverson, Garrison; brother-in-law, Glen Karlson, Garrison; nieces and nephews, Juanita (Al) Rudolph, Rodney (Jeanie) Langer, Dennis (Marti) Langer, Wilfred (Diane) Kerzmann, Linda (Gary) Majeres, LeDell (Sharon) Sandberg, Melvin (Jude) Iverson, Joann (Harold) Smith and Diane (Ray) Boze; numerous cousins also survive.

Louise was preceded in death by her son, Arlys Kerzmann; her parents, Fred and Martha Kerzmann; brothers, Andrew, John, Fred and Eugene Kerzmann; sisters, Marie Langer and Dorothy Karlson.

Funeral: Saturday, October 22, 2005, at 10:30 a.m., at Little Flower Catholic Church, Minot.

Vigil Prayer Service and Rosary: Friday at 7:00 p.m., at Little Flower Catholic Church, Minot.

Visitation: Friday, from noon to 5:00 p.m., at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, then from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church.

Burial: St. Nicholas Cemetery, Garrison, ND, Saturday at 2:30 p.m..
