Andrew Scott (Andy) Kerns 1982 - 2005

Andrew Kerns, 22, 15000 19th Ave. NW, Des Lacs, ND, died Saturday, January 15, 2005, at his home.

Andrew was born on November 2, 1982, in Minot, ND, the son of Raymond and Joanne (Fahy) Kerns. He was reared and educated in Minot and attended Minot High School.

At the time of his death, Andrew worked for Phase 2 Solutions and Hardees South in Minot. For a period of time, he resided in Oklahoma where he worked at Sonic.

Andrew liked hunting, fishing and camping. He also loved working on his Acura car, adding improvements to the car and his stereo system.

Andrew was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Minot.

Andrew is survived by his mother and step-father, Joanne and Carl Fredericksen, Des Lacs, ND, father, Raymond Kerns, Oklahoma, step-siblings, Adam, Chelsea and Zach Fredericksen, all of Minot and Brandon Fredericksen, DesLacs, aunts, Carolyn (John) Lyon and Susan (Jim) Robb both of Minot; Penny (Mike) Sexton and Crystal (Arnold) Hale both of Miami, OK; uncles Wayne (Julie) Faye, Anamoose and Jim (Sara) Fahy, Dickinson, ND. Many cousins also survive.

Andrew loved and is survived by the family dogs, Jake, Kodiak, Moose, Tia, Abbie and Lucia.

Andy was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Wayne and Inez Fahy, his paternal grandparents, Raymond and Nadine Kerns, his maternal great-grandmother, Caroline Dreier and uncle Carl Kerns.

His funeral will be on Tuesday, January 18, 2004 at 2 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Minot.

Visitation will be Monday from noon until 7 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Interment will be private.
