Delvin J. Keller 1952 - 2011 Delvin J. Keller was born on September 1, 1952, a son of John J. and Margaret (Mack) Keller in Minot. He was raised and educated in Minot, graduating from Bishop Ryan High School in 1970. Following his graduation, he attended Minot State University. On December 22, 1990, Del was united in marriage to Marlene Suchor at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church in Towner, ND. They made their home in Minot, where Del worked for Tollefson’s Furniture Store, a career that spanned some 28 years, starting out cutting carpet, soon moving to the sales floor, where he received numerous awards for outstanding service. He was forced into retirement in 1999 due to ill health. Del enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his son Shane. Deer hunting with Shane and Del’s brothers was something he looked forward to each year. He also enjoyed fishing. Restoring old tractors was a hobby Del and Shane enjoyed. Together they restored a John Deere A, John Deere 50, and two Allis Chalmers C, driving each tractor in the annual North Dakota State Fair parade. Del also assisted his father with the operations of the farm, and enjoyed attending auction sales. Del was a member of Knights of Columbus. His loving family includes: Wife of 20 years, Marlene, Minot; son Shane Keller, Minot; Parents: John (Margaret “Peggy”) Keller, Minot; Siblings: Linda (special friend Bill) Sindoni, Sayre, PA, Don Keller, Norwich, ND, Rod (Jeanne) Keller, Fargo, ND, Roger (Tammy) Keller, Bismarck, ND, Lee (Lory) Keller, Minot, Lynn (Wendy) Keller, Minot; mother-in-law Betty Suchor, Minot; brothers and sisters-in-law: Roger (Denise) Suchor, Towner, ND, Marie (special friend Reiny) Pardon, Minot, John (Pam) Suchor, Larimore, ND, Paul (Sally) Suchor, Gillette, WY, Jerome (fiancée Kristi) Suchor, Towner, Valentine (Tammy) Suchor, Redfield, SD, Carol (Gary) Mortimer, Dells, WI, LaVern Suchor, Hillsboro, ND; Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Del was preceded in death by a brother Leslie Keller, father-in-law John Suchor, sisters-in-law Barbara Suchor and Renell Suchor, and a brother-in-law Danny Pardon.
