Catherine Keller • 1921 - 2003 Catherine Keller, 81, 3200 4th St. SW, Minot, died Monday, February 10, 2003, in a Minot nursing home. She was born on March 19, 1921, in Selz, ND, the daughter of Joe and Angelina (Diebert) Ludwig. She was raised and educated in Pierce County and attended the Hillside School. She married Michael Keller on April 27, 1943, in Orrin, ND. They farmed near Wellsburg, ND, for several years and then moved to Minot. They lived and raised their family in Minot for the remainder of their lives. Her husband Mike, died on January 10, 2000. Catherine lived with her daughter, Glorianne, for a time, and later moved to Manorcare Health Services, where she lived until the time of her death. She was a member of St. Leo's Catholic Church, Minot. Survivors: Daughter, Glorianne Scherr, Minot; two sons, Daniel Keller and his wife Dianna, Minot, and David Keller and his wife Georgene, Bismarck, ND; 11 grandchildren, Corrine Schell and husband Rocky, Alan, Jason and Darin Scherr, Brian Keller and wife Julia, Jessica, Corey and Kevin Keller, Dawn Henriksen and husband Chris, Christopher Keller and wife Michelle, and Preston Keller; five great-grandchildren, Kaylee and Josh Schell, Sariah Keller, Mallory Henriksen and Adeline Keller; two sisters-in-law, Mary Ludwig, Minot, and Julia Ludwig, Harvey, ND; Several nieces and nephews also survive. Her husband, parents, son-in-law, Kenneth Scherr, four brothers, John, Bennie, Wendelin and Pete Ludwig, and two sisters, Julia Wentz and Annie Goldade, preceded her in death.
