Johnnie R. Kabanuk • 1923 - 2002

Johnnie R. Kabanuk, 79, 405-31st Ave. SE, Lot 74, Minot, ND, died Tuesday, November 5, 2002, at his home.

Johnnie was born on January 16, 1923, the son of John and Gladys (Gregerson) Kabanuk in Max, North Dakota. He was reared and educated in Gasman Township, Ward County. He entered the US Navy in 1944 and was discharged in 1946. He served on the NTS Farragut Idaho. He moved back to the Max area where he worked with his father on his land until moving into Minot.

He liked to play the accordion.

He was a member of the DAV and the American Legion.

Johnnie is survived by several cousins.

Funeral: Friday, November 8, 2002, at 10 a.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot

Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND

Visitation: one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Officiant: Rev. Timothy Solberg
