Mark A. Jundt 1958 - 2009 Mark Allan Jundt was born May 11, 1958, in Minot, ND, to Leo and Gloria (Stromme) Jundt. He attended Jim Hill Middle School, where he enjoyed playing basketball and wrestling. He graduated from Minot High School in 1976. Mark enjoyed playing softball and played on several Minot teams. He was an avid sports fan and followed the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Pittsburgh Pirates and his favorite NASCAR drivers where Dale Earnhardt, Sr. and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. The love of his life were his four children and nine grandchildren, whom he was very proud of. Mark was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Minot. Those who shared in his life, son, Eric (Michelle) Jundt, Towner; daughters, Cassandra (Alex) Houim, Samantha Jundt and Brittney Jundt, all of Minot; nine grandchildren; parents, Leo and Gloria Jundt, Minot; brothers and sisters, Terry (Nancy) Jundt, Minot, Peggy Yates, Albuquerque, NM, Jacqueline Adam, Minot, Jeff (Debbie) Jundt, Surrey, Todd (Leslie) Jundt, Minot and Pamela (Richard) Wulf, McIntosh, New Mexico; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He is also survived by his constant companion, who was with him where ever he went, his dog, Fifi. He was preceded death by his paternal grandparents, Christ and Pauline Jundt; his maternal grandparents, Moran and Mabel Stromme; aunt and uncles, Delores and Sidney Satern and Jerome Schnieder. Funeral: Thursday, October 29, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Minot, ND. Visitation and vigil prayer service: Visitation Wednesday, October 28, 2009, from noon to 7:00 p.m., with the vigil prayer service at 7:00 p.m., all at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot. Burial: Thursday at 1 p.m. at Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND. Memorials are preferred to Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church or the donor’s choice.
