Anna Jundt • 1918 - 2006 She was born on November 14, 1918, in Pierce County, ND, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Magdalen (Gerger) Richter. She married Michael F. Jundt on May 29, 1939, at St. Anselm's Catholic Church in Fulda, ND. The couple established a farm near Michael's parents' homestead and they farmed there for over 40 years. In 1980, the couple moved to Minot. In 1996, they moved to Rugby, ND, where they lived for two years before returning to Minot. Michael died on February 10, 2000, in Minot. Anna entered Trinity Homes in November 2005. Anna was an active member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Minot, where she cared for the flowers and was involved with the Altar Society. She was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Towner. She was a former member of St. Anselm's Catholic Church, the Order of Christian Mothers, and taught first grade CCD in Fulda. Survivors: sons, Kenneth and wife Delilah, Adolph and wife Elaine, Allen and wife Linda, all of Minot, and Glen and wife Lisa, Polson, MT; daughters, Leona Helgeson and husband Harlan, Rosella Hill, Mary Ann Dangel and husband Robert, all of Minot, and Ramona Jewett and husband Alfred Wayne, Polson, MT; daughters-in-law, Betty Jundt, Minot, and Penny Jundt Rodgers, Orange Park, FL; 33 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; sister Elizabeth Jundt, Minot; brother-in-law Edward Jundt and wife Bernadine, Fargo; sisters-in-law, Ann Burckhard and husband John, Minot, Julia Brossart and husband Frank, Grand Forks, Rose Keller and husband Frank, and Barbara Jundt, all of Rugby; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons Joseph and Michael C., son-in-law George Bichler, five grandchildren, one great grandson, brothers-in-law George Jundt, Joseph Jundt, Antone Jundt, Alois Jundt, Kasmer Jundt, Valentine Jundt, and Mike Axtman; sisters-in-law Elizabeth Medford, Hilda Axtman, Jacquelin Jundt, and Eva Jundt. Mass of Christian Burial: Monday, December 4, 2006, at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Minot. Visitation: Sunday, December 3, 2006, from Noon until 7 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot. Vigil Prayer Service: Sunday, December 3, 2006, at 7 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
